The foundation begins with F1 Genetics’ HOG #17 IBL F4 preservation, developed through selected pheno hunting from The HOG / Hog’s Breath genetics. The HOG earned first place in the Indica category at the 2002 High Times Cannabis Cup.
Northern Lights #1 adds another old-school influence. Historically described as a true-breeding Afghani, NL #1 is known for short, stocky plants, broad dark-green leaves, strong stems and heavy resin production, along with a sweet aromatic character.
That combination is then crossed to Hindu Kush, traditional indica genetics associated with the Hindu Kush mountain region of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Hindu Kush is well known for compact growth, resin production and the earthy, sweet and spicy character commonly associated with classic Kush genetics.
