ACC 95 Romulan IBL is a Regular Inbred Line preserved from original 1995 Romulan genetics sourced from Heime Cheeba of Alaska Cannabis Cache. This preservation project represents an opportunity to continue the legacy of one of Canada’s most respected cannabis cultivars.
The original Romulan traces its roots to South Vancouver Island, where Korean War veterans began growing Colombian and Mexican sativa genetics during the 1960s. After years of selecting plants that finished earlier in the cool coastal climate, Afghani genetics were introduced in the early 1980s, producing the compact, resin-rich selection that would become known as Romulan. The original clone was later passed to Romulan Joe, who helped preserve and distribute the cultivar, cementing its place in cannabis history.
Known for its unmistakable pine-forward aroma, abundant resin production, and deeply relaxing character, Romulan became one of British Columbia‘s most recognized legacy cultivars and was widely respected throughout the Pacific Northwest. When I had the opportunity to acquire these original 1995 genetics from Heime Cheeba, I knew they deserved to be preserved. I am proud to continue that preservation through F1 Genetics and help ensure this remarkable cultivar remains available for future generations.
