This one is all about bringing two proven old-school lines together. 95 Romulan × HOG #17 combines our 1995 Romulan IBL, sourced from Heime Cheeba of Alaska Cannabis Cache, with HOG #17 IBL F4, our carefully selected preservation of the legendary T.H. Seeds HOG.
Romulan is a true Pacific Northwest classic with deep roots in British Columbia. Its history traces through early Vancouver Island genetics influenced by Colombian, Mexican and Afghani stock, eventually becoming famous for its compact growth, dense resinous flowers, strong pine character and powerful effects.
On the other side is HOG #17, selected from the Tennessee-rooted T.H. Seeds HOG line that took 1st Place Indica at the 2002 High Times Cannabis Cup. F1 Genetics has worked this line through repeated pheno selection to the F4 generation.
Putting these two together creates a Regular hybrid with real history on both sides of the pedigree—1995 Romulan preservation crossed with our selected HOG #17 F4. For me, this is what breeding with legacy genetics is about: preserving the originals while creating something genuinely different from them.
